Atlantic Geomatics is proud to announce that the Company has achieved certification to ISO 14001: 2004 , the internationally recognised Environmental Management System standard.

Atlantic Geomatics undertakes surveys for major organisations, including The Environment Agency, who have a pivotal role in monitoring and controlling pollution, United Utilities and RWE npower who are actively working to reduce pollution and their impact on the environment so, according to Business Manager, Peter G Baker, it is encumbent on Atlantic Geomatics to support its clients in meeting their environmental objectives.

"Our main achievement has been to reduce general waste by over 50% with most of the reduction going for recycling. With the objective of lowering our consumption of fuel we have reduced the size of our fleet of Company vehicles and now use vehicles with lower emissions" says Managing Director, Tim Viney.
