Civil Aviation Authority Permissions Upgrade

After a lot of hard work and dialogue with the CAA we are delighted to announce that our permissions to carry out aerial survey work have been amended to allow the following:

-Increased flying height to a maximum of 750ft

-Decreased lateral flying distance of 30m

The improved permissions will allow us to better serve the needs of our clients for any future aerial survey or inspection work required.

Our UAV Pilot Jamie Howe said that ‘It was great to work with the CAA to gain these permissions. Through training and practice we were able to present a robust business case for needing to amend our permission for aerial work and provide the CAA with confidence flights can be carried out safely within the new parameters.”

If you need an aerial survey for inspection or mapping purposes get in touch.
