Atlantic Geomatics have won the Cross Sector Innovation Award for our Burial Ground Management System at the Innovus Awards 2016.

The Innovus Awards is a joint project between the National Nuclear Laboratory and The University of Manchester's Dalton Nuclear Institute. The awards showcased the breadth of creativity, innovation and technology that has enabled small and medium-sized businesses to grow. An exhibition and networking lunch was held earlier in the day at The Halston, Carlisle, followed by an awards dinner hosted by designer Wayne Hemingway.

Tim Viney, Managing Director of Atlantic Geomatics said: "I am incredibly proud of our team here at Atlantic Geomatics, for all their hard work and commitment."

Adrian Davis-Johnston, of Innovus, said: "In the last few years there has been £4m private sector-led research, development and innovation activity achieved by Cumbrian businesses looking to make a change in the industry. These awards highlight the talent we have in Cumbria."
